IMPORTANT WEBSITE NOTICES
NOVEMBER 2016 - NEW FGIF twitter ACCOUNT ADDED TO THE SITE
FGIF joins the social media revolution! To raise the profile of our site I have set up a twitter account so that we can share our news, reports and photo updates. If you are like-minded please spread the word and remember to send us a tweet if you have been to an interesting game or ground. Alternatively, we can add your twitter feed to the list of followers published on our home page at FGIF@ Bring it on!!
OCTOBER 2016 - NEW FGIF FLICKR ALBUM
Work is well under way in transferring our images from the old FGIF Archive (in Google) to the new FGIF Image Album (in Flickr). At the time of writing over 10000 photos (500 albums) have already been moved across. This will hopefully be completed by the end of the season and allow all of our photos to be stored in one place and become more accessible to our readers.
AUGUST 2016 - RECENT CHANGES TO FGIF
I would like to apologise to our readers for the lack of updates over the last few weeks. Unfortunately, a combination of factors beyond our control has led to delays in bringing you the latest news, reports, reviews and photos on FGIF.
Following the recent retirement of Picasaweb (our photo sharing service) by Google as well as a major upgrade to web hosting by Bravenet (our site provider) it has been very difficult to edit and process content in the usual way. Everything is being done to sort this out and hopefully normal service will be resumed very shortly.
Despite these changes, it is still possible to view our photos. All of the ground, action and match day images covering games for 2016-17 can now be found in a brand new Flckr Album. I hope you like the new layout and presentation. Photos from previous seasons have been transferred to a new Google archive with club albums arranged in date order going back to 2005. Click on the links shown on the home page below for more.
Please continue to send in your news. Once again I apologize for any inconvenience. If you have any questions please get in touch. Enjoy your travels.
Best wishes, Martin(Editor, FGIF)
