Don't you believe it'. Gary adds..'a cracking Vase game that deserved a far higher attendance than the 35 who actually turned up. Game made very interesting in the 1st minute (!) when JKS reduced to ten men for deliberate handball in the area. Resultant penalty was scored. JKS came back strongly and equalised before half-time. Second half saw Casuals take the lead only for JKS to equalise again. Then followed end to end play with both sides having chances to win in normal time. First half of extra time saw no goals and the ten men finally lost their legs conceding three in the second period of extra time. Superb - I LOVE the Vase!'. Thursday 10 September - Nottingham Forest FC Ground News Latest: Andy Gallon - writes: 'Here's an update on Nottingham Forest FC's proposed new stadium: Nottinghamshire County Council have criticised the Championship club's plans to leave the City Ground. Forest want to build a 45,000-capacity all-seater stadium in the Gamston area of the city as part of Nottingham's bid to host World Cup games in either 2018 or 2022. But the site is owned by the county council, who will not back any building on such greenbelt land. County Council leader Kay Cutts said the club had acted like a "centre-forward prima donna" in announcing on Monday plans to relocate. She has made it clear to Forest the authority will support a bid based only on the club's present location'. Thursday 10 September - Football Grounds In Suffolk: Matt Smith - writes: 'Hi. The Championship club have been wooing the FA with their proposals in the hope of becoming a host city should England win the right to stage either the 2018 or 2022 World Cup. Monday 7 September - TT No.26: Justin Holmes - 'Both sides had made solid starts to the season with a couple of wins out of four games each and both progressing in the FA Cup the previous week. As this game was relatively a local derby, a competitive game was expected. However, Taunton were truly dreadful today, hardly able to string passes together and conitnually putting the ball out of play. Yate always looked the better side without themselves looking at all impressive..' In his first report for FGIF Justin attends the Southern League Division 1 South & West fixture at Taunton Town (v Yate Town) played on 05/09/09...also includes some excellent matchday images...not to be missed! Monday 7 September - TT No.25: Andy Gallon - 'The Central Midlands League, which has grown steadily into a great little feeder competition, is renowned for a high turnover of clubs. It's a popular league with travellers because each season generally brings a decent clutch of ambitious new teams to visit. This campaign is no different, but for me, Dronfield Town were the sole recruit for 2009-10 playing at a ground I hadn't ticked off, and so figured well up my 'to do' list'. A series of robust challenges results in the inevitable melee, following which a visiting forward picks up a second yellow for being gobby and heads for that early bath. Tooting had been starting to gain a degree of dominance but that goes by the board in a largely one-directional second period which at least is more entertaining than the first'. Our ace reporter is back after a short break...it's destination Billericay Town for Chris as he takes in the Isthmian League Premier Division fixture against Tooting and Mitcham played on 05/09/09...even with a sore metatarsal there's no holding him back!!
