Wick to Wembley? is the story of that journey: 16 games and 2,354 miles from his local club to a Wembley Cup Final. It is the story of highs and lows, excitement and disappointment and of raw Cup football emotion that reduced grown men to tears. From DAVID BAUCKHAM, Publisher - Centre Circle Publishing www.ccpub.co.uk' Thursday 4 September - Faringdon Thursday Memorial Cup Competition: D.Gosling - writes: Dear Martin, I'm chairman of the Faringdon Thursday Memorial Cup Competition, and have recently published a web site for the competition. Regards, D.Gosling (Chairman FTMCC)'. Find out more at: www.freewebs.com/faringdonthursdaymcc Thursday 4 September - Important Notice re FGIF Photo Gallery: WebEd - Over the last few days the FGIF Photo Gallery has been completely revamped! The new look Bravenet.com Photo Centre is more user-friendly with several important changes: photos now have title tags and it is much easier to identify individual clubs in each album. Secondly, as well as been able to scroll from one picture to another, it is now possible to view the images as part of a slide show. A big improvement! Unfotunately as a result of these necessary changes images on the site now have new addresses. This means that pictures accompanying TT reports etc and those displayed in the FGIF Club Index cannot be downloaded directly in the same way. I apologise for the inconvenience. However normal service should be resumed within the next couple of weeks when photos accompanying reports (TT, Ramblings, LL etc) will be provided with remote link addresses and you can access them as before. After this images displayed in the FGIF Index will be adjusted in the same way during the course of the coming months. In the meantime you can still check out all the pictures on the site by visiting the Gallery via the league links on the blue side panel. The new tags should help you to identify ground, action and matchday images on any of the fifty or so albums...so please browse and enjoy!
