Haslemere Hospital Cup 2007 / 2008 Season

One Day Event, Saturday 25th August 2007

I am writing to update you with the following information relating to the one day event taking place on Saturday 25th August, at Woolmer Hill Sports Ground: -

The competition will be played in two leagues, league A and B, which have been drawn as follows:

League A

Shottermill & Haslemere (A)

Liphook United (B)

Hammer United

Dunsfold

League B

Liphook United (A)

Shottermill & Haslemere (B)

Chiddingfold

Hindhead

Winners of league A will play the runners up of league B, the winners of league B will play the runners up of league A in the semi finals.

Each match will be 30 minutes one way.

Normal 11 aside FA rules apply. If required, penalty shootouts will be played where a tie situation is applicable.

Please note the following –

• Team representatives must sign in by 09.30am at the latest, as the first matches will kick-off at 10am prompt.

• Would all clubs please bring along a change of strip, 3 match balls, and a raffle prize.

It is hoped that the semi finals will commence at approx 2.15 / 2.30pm, and the final at about 3.30 – 4.00pm.

The timetable of events will be displayed on arrival; the league tables will be updated with the results throughout the morning session and will be available for all to see.

Those teams who have not yet paid their £50 entry fee please would you kindly forward to either Linda or I as soon as possible.

Let’s hope the sun shines and this new one day event proves to be successful, enjoyable and becomes a regular annual fixture.
