Guide to 2006-2007 Pix on this web page

Top row: left - one for the anorak -  a turnstile at Grange Road, Cambridge, home to both Cambridge University Football and Rugby clubs; middle – page heading; right - copy of the glossy FC Utd of Manchester programme (NWCL Div 2 Champions in 2005-06) (taken by Jim Moore).

2nd row: left - a memorable sign awaits visitors to Bolsover Sports FC during the CML Ground Hop in 2006; middle – a view of the impressive Ricoh Arena, home to Coventry City FC (Football Championship); right – photo showing an avid Bury Town FC fan complete with drum taken before the Eastern Counties League club entertained Hillingdon Borough in the first leg of the FAV Semi-Final at Ram Meadow.

3rd row: left - the Olympic Stadium in Berlin, venue of the 2006 World Cup Final; middle - the letters spell out LAWYERS, nickname of Tow Law Town FC (Northern League) (image taken by Mike Latham); right – fans can walk underneath the quirky touchline stand at Cradley FC (Midland Football Alliance).

4th row: left – some rows of bright blue seating on the terraces at Cambuur Leerwarden FC (in the Dutch Non-League) (picture taken by Leon Gladwell); middle – back of the home dug out at Southwold Town FC (Anglian Combination League) reminds spectators that the Sole Bay brewery is not very far away!; right – the narrow confines at Tring Corinthians FC (Spartan South Midlands League) means spectators have to watch the action standing in an adjacent field!!

5th row: left - the unique setting at Jockey Farm, home to Rusthall FC of the Kent County League; middle - a rather phallic-looking backdrop awaits visitors to the Victoria Pleasure Grounds in Goole (Northern Premier League) (image from Leon Gladwell); right - a foggy November scene at Bishops Cleeve FC (Hellenic League). Not surprisingly this game v Newton Abbott was abandoned after 50 minutes.

Bottom row: left - the colliery wheel greets visitors to No.1 Terrace Road, Ellistown FC (Leicestershire Senior League; middle - clouds loom ominously above a floodlit Irongate, Bamber Bridge FC (Northern Premier League); right - image of the photographers taken before kick-off at Stoke City on the opening day of the 2005-2006 season. Sadly the Championship game v Sheffield Wednesday didn't produce any goals.
