SENDING YOUR DIGITAL IMAGES TO FGIF

With the growing number of images being sent to FGIF I have upgraded the service and YOU can now send your own pictures directly to the Photo Centre on the site without having to send them by E-Mail. The process is much quicker too.

Please read the following instructions below. It might be useful to print them. This provides a step by step guide which may help you to send your photos to FGIF. This assumes you have already transferred your images from your camera to your PC and have saved them in an appropriate folder (eg. in ‘My Documents’ or ‘My Pictures). They should also be saved in the recognised ‘jpeg’ file format which makes it easier to send the images to FGIF.

(1)     Click the following link to access the IMAGE GALLERY;

(2)     Now select and click on UPLOAD NEW PHOTOS tab (this is the third menu item listed in the top left hand corner);

(3)     On the next page select HOW MANY IMAGES YOU WANT TO UPLOAD from the drop down menu. You can send up to five photos at a time. When you have done this click NEXT;

(4)     Fill in the TITLE and FILE NAME of the picture you wish to send. It is a good idea to identify your photos with a date and some match details:  (eg. Title - 01/04/05: Hull City v Sheffield Wed). The File name should be the same one you have used to save the picture as in your Browser: (eg.  hcfc1 etc);

(5)     Now using your Browser upload this image file (picture) from the folder you have used to save your photos in already (eg. this could be in My Documents/My Pictures); NOTE - EACH IMAGE MUST HAVE A FILESIZE LESS THAN 1,024kb.

(6)     Repeat this procedure for each photo you wish to send (eg. hcfc2; hcfc 3 etc);

(7)     Remember to add your FULL NAME and E-MAIL ADDRESS.  This makes it easier to acknowledge the sender and to credit each of your photos.

(8)     When you have finished and are ready to send your images press the NEXT button. Your pictures have now been sent to FGIF;

(9)     You can now see the photos you have sent by scrolling down the page.

And that's it!  I get an E-Mail to confirm you have sent the pictures to FGIF.

Hope this makes sense. If there’s a problem please get in touch.
