Hopping Rules: Have Your Say - What if you arrive late to a game and miss the kick-off?

There are many circumstances beyond our control which can lead to us miss the start of a game or even at worst miss the match altogether. But do we count a game when we arrive after kick-off?

21/11/05 from WebEd: Sadly the only self-imposed rule I stand by is having to make the game before kick-off. However having said that I still haven’t re-visited some grounds where this has happened (all late arrivals due to traffic problems or not leaving enough time before setting out!). For example, roadworks last season at Bourne in Lincolnshire meant we missed the first five minutes at Sleaford Town v Eynesbury Rovers in the UCL1 (at RAF Cranwell). Luckily we didn’t miss any goals unlike the Unibond League match between Gainsborough Trinity v Worksop several years back where bad planning cost us the first two minutes of the game. Trinity scored the only goal of the game after 90 seconds!
